Hi cammers! We are not sure who this male lion is. The rangers said it might be from the Kruger Park or the Manyeleti. Well, he just turned a good day into a perfect day. I love the sound of the roaring....Jacques was the great zoomer and I was one of the "bozos"on the jeep...Lucky me!!!! Really hope that we will see more of him tonight! Enjoy my friends! Hello Karin and Jacques. When you say possibly from the Manyeleti, Karin, could he be one of the Manyeleti Males we saw last month? Thank you, Jacques for the great zooming.

The landies cause more problems for us cammers and the zoomie then the critters as we are trying to view with extreamly sensitive microphones that makes the sounds of the landies much greater and with the night cam settings the lights of the landies looks much brighter. Zoomie did a good job of changing over to color to help with the lighting problems somewhat and keeping it in focus as much as possible. The lion almost acted like it didn't even notice the landies but just kept on drinking since it knew it was the king :) The lone female leopard and lion that came around seemed to be bothered by the jeeps coming out, but this guy seemed to decide that since humans don't taste good -- all that junk food -- he'd just go about his business.

Hi Karin! Great sighting! Want to thank all at the NK Lodge and Africam too for bringing us this awesome lion sighting!!! Do we know who the male is? He was very, VERY relaxed around the vehicles. Sorry, if you have already ID him cuz I haven't scanned back thru the comments. LOL I was a little bit out of balance/confused about a post, but will react on this . I am very happy with this sighting and the camera work. Also how the rangers did what they did. Maybe the Lion got more spooked by a Jackson And which male it was.....Yes a guestion from me to EDIT And I am a SLOW poster and see all the post before Roaring still
