Oh Barry, sounds like kind of fun!  My grandkids moved to Dothan, Alabama and I really miss having them close by!  We leave tomorrow morning for a quick trip down to be there for my son-in-law getting a promotion and pinning ceremony for awards earned while in Iraq.  Try to enjoy the little ones.  They grow up so fast!

Have a safe trip and thank your son-in-law for me.

Here's a little video I love -- for vets and their families.

Thank you Maddie.  That clip is beautiful!  Sorry I have taken so long to say thank you!  My husband called for help getting the truck cleaned and I never got back until now.

Son-in-law is not a regular soldier.  He is a test pilot who then installs new equipment on existing air craft.  He flew helicopters while there and was forced to engage in combat even though he was not supposed to have to!  He took a flag with him and flew it from the helicopter at the end of a mission then sent it home to my husband with a dedication plaque.  A treasured item!

Hi Linda, welcome aboard, good point about the beaks, maybe they should be called Gucks. The seem to have characteristics of both ducks and geese.

Thanks for the welcome. I'm delighted to be here. "Gucks" works for me! Laughing

Laughing  If I throw a rock in the right direction, I can hit Stone Mountain with it.   Also spent a bit over 6 years in Texas.   I liked Texas.

Cowboy, it sounds like the weather is crazy all along the east coast.  We, too, are going from very hot to cold... raw rainy weather followed by hot and sunny.  Crazy.  You are still in Georgia, right?

I hear a doggie barking now.   Smiling

Hi MH...to me they are just lions...lol.  I haven't been around long enough to even begin to wonder which pride or what lions they are.  It amazes me that people can put a name to them Smiling

Hi Janice. I wish those lions would come on by the wh. I have to go pretty soon, so that's probably what they're waiting for...want me to just miss them again.

LOL Barry. I guess I'm definitely not all alone. Maybe you need to bring out those cookies and get some of the lurkers in.
