Hey Africam administrators,

All I want to say is thank you so much for providing such a fantastic modum for watching live game.

I am a South African living in New Zealand and I used to visit the KNP every year of my life until I left SA. I so yearn for the African bush that it hurts my soul but of course that was my choice to leave. It is so gratifying to have  a facility such as Africam to see and to hear the African wild.

I am planning a trip to the KNP next year for 4 weeks but in the mean time I feel priveledged to be able to listen and almost feel the African bush via African.

Keep up the good work.

With appreciation,

Kevin

Lol Kevin, no I don't think I 'm as passionate about Africa as you. It's already 34 years since I left SA and I like it very much to live here in BE even if it rains here a lot. I think I adapted to this climate or rather to any climate.

I can't wait until I visit again, so I enjoy whatever BE offers and I even live in a city.

You must join in the chat forum and tell the ppl there of your experiences in the Kruger.

Look for the daily Boma chit-chat forums

It's great you are here Kevin Smiling

I came to the USA from SA in 2001 and Africam was a lifesaver for me, then and now.  You will find lovely people here who will chat about wildlife with you until the cows come home Laughing

Hi Cerinthe,

Well maybe you are not as passionate as I am.

Yes I do live in a beautiful country but there is still nothing in the world like Africa.

I have been away for nearly thirteen years now, but still can't get used to the rain and cooler weather here.

How long have you been away and how do you find Belgium weather?

Let me know what times you view Africam and maybe we can com more on a live basis if you want to.

Lol Kevin, I won't go to that lenghts.

How long have you been away from SA? For me it's a very long time and I got busy here with birding and such.

You live in a very scenic place yourself now.

Hey Cerinthe,

You sound like a true bushveld fanatic.

It is so hard sometimes to meet people who are so passionate and interested in wild life as much as I am. It's good to communicate with you and I hope we can have more chats in the future.

I've told my wife that when I die I want her to travel back to Africa and spread my ashes in the KNP. I yearn so much for the bush it hurts.

Ditto!

I used to live in the Free State. First time I watched the cams it was noon and although there were no animals on the cam, the shade under the trees made me "feel" the heat. It was like I was back in the veld with the sun burning on my head. I almost cried, because of the sudden memories flooding back.

Welcome to Africam
