Dogs and cats will also scoot there bottem like that to help release there anal sacs which are 2 small glands just inside the animals anus.The stuff secreted into these glands are a really foul smelling almost fishy smelling and then some. They are used for scent marking and they usually scoot there bottem when they are impacted as an attempt to release and empty them.
