I really think a wide view would best, But I wonder if there is any way to set it too alternate back and forth from wide to zoom. Just a thought

Would it be possible to go inter-active with a zoomed in view? That way the viewers (us) could control the camera for short periods (say 5 minutes each).
Great for night viewing when nobody at the Lodge is manning the camera.
This inter-active technique is being used now at various resort cameras in Hawaii.

Oh wow, I vote for that too. The little ole town of Astoria, OR has one of those and it's cool to realize that YOU are actually operating it. Not sure if it would work here, but would be great if it did...although we would all be fighting over it.

Other than that (even tho I'm coming in late to the discussion, I would probably vote wide-angle too, with the right side of the WH showing at least a foot or so?

M y thoughts.

I feel the wide angle view would be great with the camera focused really efficantly .
Could we have the views changed from time to time as this would be more interesting.

I view the night camera during the day anyway because we are approx 10 hours ahead in New Zealand and then only at the weekend as I work.
