You're welcome Pam!  I was viewing the vids and I purposely stop to start the New Day, so that I could thank Aquila and post it for the people (like me) that missed it.

Pieter did such a good job!  He is so humble and so smart!  They did such a great job!

Aquila, Thanks for the videos.  I am glad I can atleast watch you-tube.  So your name means "eagle".  That must account for your great eyes.  I loved the baboon story.

OH need to go watch that now. So nice to have our star back lol.

I have a question for all our blossoming lionistas here.

I remember someone here saying, when we were talking about the boys, that lions are not a "forward planning" animal.

What I found myself wondering today, with the unusual behavior of the Nkahumas, was this: What is the possibility that the movement was an evasive technique, ie to pull Mapogos attention from the mamas & cubs. Is that a possibility or is that just giving them too much intellectual credit?

I just registered for the first time on the Djuma site. I am not getting a feed. Is it up or does anyone know if it is working?  Thanks in advance.

As great as the drives are...I could be very happy with a Q&A session like this on a regular basis; maybe once a month or something.

Wasn't it awesome and so informative!  Pieter has such a calming effect, I mean about fearing about those cubs and all, he is perfect explaining it all is as it should be.  And why man should not interfere.

The cam is up for me at the moment, Tinkerbell. They only have 80 slot's though, so may have to wait or keep trying for a spot.

I agree, I would love it if they would do these Q&A's once in awhile, it was really fun to feel like we were really interacting with them more.

Hi everyone and you are most welcome for the videos. Smiling Wasn't it just awesome! Questions got answered in a leisurely fashion without signal interference, tank noise, etc... it was just PERFECT. I learned sooooo much. Hope they get lots of emails or postings on their blog telling them just how much everyone enjoyed it!! Smiling

Wow. That was like sitting down, starving, to a huge feast and leaving the table totally satisfied. Thank you, Pieter. :-)

It would be wonderful if they would do a Q & A session  once a month. It was so nice to be able to hear everything Pieter said without noise interference. I love the drives but I got so much out of this today.

THIS is why we love Pieter so much!! We love all of the WE crew, but I could sit and listen to Pieter talk for hours! The knowledge just oozes out of his pores, but his presentation is the best part! He makes me feel like I'm right there and he's talking to me! He's good!

I think that Rexon may be more "in tune" with the animals, but right now I needed to hear Pieter talk in his calming voice, about the natural cycle of lion prides.

Thanks Cyn,  I was so upset when I heard those lionesses were close to NK.  I can not think of a good reason for them to be there.

Pieter just told us straight didn't he? Probably within a couple weeks. Yet somehow, as you said, he makes it ok. The man is going to be an awesome father when he has those kids running around the bush lol.

I guess my earlier question this evening was just wishful dreaming, eh?

Did you find yourself smiling many times when he was talking and feeling like life was good?  I did and I would love to have this happen again and even on a regular basis...

Cynthiab, I would so hope that your theory would be correct.

Yep! ABSOLUTELY, ex! I would be more than willing to replace the occassional drive with a Q and A with Pieter, and , for that matter, a "guest" from time to time along with him. Who wouldn't want to pick the brains of Rexon, Jan, James, Alex, etc. as well?????

Hi Lana...

Bugs and frogs are almost silent....remember when you figured that something was around when they were quiet?  What's out there now......

Well the bugs and frogs are no longer silent.   Maybe Babs quieted them down for a bit  lol
