BTW....I don't know if you guys saw the thread that Cerinthe started in the Africam Art forum awhile ago. It's a Christmas 2007 thread. I have already posted most of the stuff I have done, but not all. And there are many nice ones I didn't have a hand in. You guys should all post your pics there.

Karen, I cannot agree with you more! That is exactly what I said in my email yesterday! Maybe they thought it was just me that had the problem, even tho I said it was pretty widespread. I sure hope they get the message. Doesn't make much sense to me to continue to go out on the drives when no one can see you. Even tho it's only 80 slot...haha! __________________

hey WC, I was experimenting after drive was over with 2 connections at wh to see if either type connection lasted longer... lol between the 2 of them I managed to hear Hayley pretty much say the normal "thank you for joining us, we apologize for the short drive and we look forward to seeing you on the morning drive". In my opinion, I hate to see them going thru the effort it takes to do these drives and then from what it looks like no one is able to truly enjoy what they are trying to share with us because of this bad buffering problem we have had for last 2 days. I'd miss the effort, but maybe they need to temporarily stop trying to do the drives until the buffering ghost issues get smoothed out. We have no idea if it is from their feed going out, the bad weather, water soaked grounds or even if it is on Telkom's side of things.
Yeah, Karen I agree but my guess is that they would prolly have a hard time convincing Pieter not to do the drive, he loves it so much.LOL! But I would think that expenses, wear and tear on the landie, battery, etc. would be taken into account. The whole sitution is just plain strange to me. __________________

Hi everyone...pretty quiet in here now, I guess there is a lot to do with Christmas or everyone had too much of Karen's eggnog...lol. I managed to get on the drive today...for what it was worth...lots of buffering also. Although when I can snag a seat, I always seem to have buffering/freezing but not as much as today. Wildcall....sorry but I didn't hear what Haley said. Think I'll head out to the casino today. Have a good day/evening all. good luck at the casino. __________________
