Thank you Karen, I missed that as I have the cam muted. Looks like I might have to take a nap after the Cubs game is over    LOL

wooohoooo Pieter just came on and said THE TANK IS FIXED.

There WILL BE A MORNING DRIVE FOR SUNDAY @ 6:00am CAT as long as the weather is good for it.

Thank you bunches to our WildEarth Team for working so hard to get The Tank running again...it's in Your Nature!

Morning/evening folks.  Darn...No drive and I'm up earlier than usual...'course that could be because I got to sleep earlier last night---because there was no drive then, either. Frown  These drives are scheduling my life. Wink

Hey gang,

I am doing some searching back in Djuma's sighting reports on a Female Leopard named Kaalkol and come across an Ostrich sighting back on November 4th of 2003.........

4 November AM

This morning, we were very excited to see a male ostrich on Cheetah Plains. We hardly ever find ostrich in the area, so it's great when they do cross over from Kruger, Manyeleti, or Mala Mala. This male was a fine specimen. He had all his lovely black and whit plumage ruffled out. He was being dive-bombed by rollers, Drongos, and plovers who were not too impressed with his presence. As the birds flew at the ostrich, he lifted his wings and spun around violently. It was quite a sight! The birds finally left him alone and he carried on feeding and wandering around.

Sure thing Mike but a little shell shocked nevertheless.  We did not sleep at all last night.

I am off to watch rugby - see you all tomorrow - take care!

Hmmm Lana have to agree with you there - they must have known that the vehicle was not going to be ready.  I have just used up one whole lot of bandwidth and not to mention my sore wrist!  Oh well that counts me out till around 5 p.m. tomorrow as I have too much to do tomorrow as we start swimming on Monday!
