I think it was Nick, might have been Pieter, who said on a previous ellie footprint sighting, that the front footprint is almost round while the back footprint is more oval. I would guess this one is a back footprint.

I know.... but she probably will. You know teenagers. 5 hundred to them is a fortune. :( She's in the hospital right now with an unrelated heart problem. They probably want to get her to sign a release fast.

Yep Ex, It's legal here. They do it all the time in an effort not to be sued later if the person discovers more serious injuries.

I think they are just jerking me around as they contacted one of the passengers that was in the car with my daughter and said they were sending her $500.00 and a medical release to sign. So they must know their driver was at fault.

Is that legal...sounds almost like bribery

Yes, the footprint is interesting. Never knew about the veins in the bottom. LOL

I'm wondering if my insurance will go up next month. Even though my daughter was at no fault.... they have a tendency to up the rates for any reason. :(

Hey Ex-centric! The insurance company has done nothing. Car still sitting in my front yard crumpled up. :( They say they haven't been able to reach the driver of their insured car and can't process my claim against them until they talk to him. :(

Here is the elephant footprint

I hate that we have no choice.....legally we have to pay for insurance to operate a vehicle....the companies however seem to be under no obligation to pay out in a timely manner.....In Canada we have "no fault" insurance so even if someone smashes into me my premiums go up....maybe we need to start using horses again  Thanks for the ellie footprint...don't you think it is interesting? :D
