WILDEARTH'S DJUMA Cam Discussion - Friday, June 15th

That's Sunday in SA, not Sunday in the USA or Canada.

After reading the latest report from WE (posted here on page 7), I don't really expect to see much before Sunday and just a maybe on Sunday. They shouldn't let Jan take 2 weeks of leave, he's Mr. Fix-it!

I am back reconnected to the sorry message with buffering. Hopefully I can keep it up throughout the day to see if any changes have occured to be able to share. If any thing different happens or I am no further connected, I'll let you know, so some one else can try and monitor it to see how they may be making out over there.

Oh Ok then - I do have a few things to do and we had a late night last night with guests for dinner so I will see you all over the weekend!

Hi Penny, there was no drive last night. I have not been able to connect this morning, but from the sounds of it, there is no drive this morning either.

Glad to see you are able to get back on line, and I know it makes you very, very happy.

hmmmmm... we talked about it in the thread. nick had come back on the cam, said they had vehicle problems and they were going to see if they could get it fixed and hope to be back with us for drive. but... we never heard any thing more from him or live control. then as the dam cam was up, it went to the "sorry message" around 5:00 CAT, and has been like that ever since.
I have wondered about their power problems, with the things that were going on with Nkorho cam feed yesterday. or..... could also be taking this drive cam down time, and seeing what kind of updating and work they can try and start working on ahead of schedule maybe too.
I don't have the cam feed now to even keep up with the sorry message, so take it that is still what it is doing.

Greetings from a gorgeous day in SA - I managed to get on the drive after only 3 clicks so wondered if in fact it has gone out or not. I have been out of commission as my whole computer crashed and had to be taken away - only got back on line today! Please can someone kindly tell me what has transpired and are we likely to have a drive today?
