I do not to worry about it. It is the circle of life and there is nothing we can do about it except watch, listen and learn.

I wonder what we will find out on the AM drive...whether they made a kill or not? It makes me worry about those poor zebras (and others) who were calling a while ago, although I know it is the circle of life...it is still so sad to hear. Frown

I saw the critter leaving from water, it was pretty big, could have been a male lion, but soooooo hard to tell with such a looooong view we have. wonder if something is going on again across the road in the drainage lion. hmmmmm

Whoa, the forum is so frustrating. First I can't post or open threads and now it won't let me link videos. Sad

Oh, that did NOT sound good...did anyone else hear the Lions roaring and Zebra alarm calls ongoing for about 10 minutes?   It happened about 20+ minutes ago.  Now I just saw a lion come down to the WH to drink.

I have been trying to get on the forum for 20 mins now to ask.

I did not hear a leopard at Gowrie, what I heard was definitely a lion. Of course we might have heard different things and by the time I thought about recording it, it had stopped.

Lion roar 11:02 PM CAT. It took me 8 minutes to post it due to Africam site errors and slowness.

Another thought is that the paying guests are complaining about paying for what we see for free. When we were watching the hyena, as soon as another vehicle showed up, we left. It was a very short visit.
"my opinion" on that is, being there in person and seeing it on a web cam still are not the same. You can't smell or see every move. Like with a Nascar Race, you can watch them every weekend on TV, but there is nothing any better than going to races live and that smell of burnt rubber and spent fuel.
