WILDEARTH'S DJUMA Cam Discussion - Wednesday, June 6th
Something (two) moving along the water's edge on lower right. Geese Maybe? Thought the first one looked too big when it first came into view.
:) That is so neat Aquila !
OH! That is just adorable, Aquila!!
Love the mom's "foot maneuvering"!!
Now THAT sound I recognize- Egyptian goose!
Starting NEW DAY momentarily....
I just uploaded this for a friend that wanted to see it. Thought maybe you guys might too. From another cam, but so cute.
I have several videos where mom's come to the aid of their stuck babies. Elephants are magnificent creatures. :) I love the foot work in this one. heehee
well i'm off for my nightly walk, be back in a little while.
Something happened to my picture a few minutes ago, and it coincided with a loud metallic bang noise. Ellies messing with the equipment?
I'm hearing a hyena now...
I just got on to see what was going on at the watering hole. Sounds like maybe it's the squirrels? Could be vervets, but I don't know how either of them could explain that firecracker-y sound.
Squiggly here too off and on.... mostly on.
I missed it - doing a LOT of buffering right now..
I was reading the latest blog, and apparently the folks at Djuma had a problem with ellies digging as well! LOL! Apprently one kept digging up the cables for the cam, just like our Nkorho friend likes to dig up the water pipe!! Little (Or big!!) brats!! LOL! :P :P
On one of the drives they showed a DEEP hole and said an elephant had dug it. They mentioned having problems with them digging up cables and pipes too. LOL Maybe the Nkorho plumber visits them regularly also. :)
