Karen,  the only reason I was picking your brain about the Mapogo location is because of their proximity in location to the Nkuhuma's.

I listen to Rexon from AM and he talked about going east of Gowie.  And now the update from Josh said traveling East also.

Haven't got an update on Nkuhuma's locations lately (that I know of) so hopefully they are still North/West and the Mapogos are not still pursuing them.

Lea, We just saw the Mapogos on the AM drive. I only saw 1 vehicle there.

It looked like the only reason we didn't spend more time with them is because of the battery connection and charging problem.

Sag, I was hoping that the bad boys would come to NK and hang around tonight.

WC~~Maybe we will get lucky and that will be the next thing they work on.  I would really like to have them talk to us from the lodge about what is happening at the waterhole like they do at WE.

Yeah, I saw that, Lea...

As far as competition goes, that is a factor of course because we have a lower priority among the lodge guests. Other than that, I just think it's all in how the cards lay as the animals are free to roam about throughout the region..

Days like this I sure wish NK and EP had live drives, too! Eye-wink

This makes me wonder why we are not hardly seeing anything when we go on drives.  Maybe, that is why nobody was answering Rexon when he called on the radio.  Too much competition to watch these animals maybe?

Have any of you read this from the Q&A.  This is just part of it.

They had a huge herd of elephants with lots of young ones.Found 6 rhinos and after that they saw the the 5 Mapogo males. They were mobile going east... Lets's hope they keep on walking and they come this side. Andre then moved on and found Salaheshe(female leopard) in a tree on a young impala kill, with two hyenas under the tree. At the end of their drive they found a small herd of buffalo as well as lots of general game!!What a drive they had

Thanks WC I hope so too.  Twice I could not even hard shut it down.  My hubby had to remove the batteries.  I am watching the time shift button from the first page to watch the wilde try to give berth.  Josh could not find her.
