Regarding the report of the bush power outages, as much wind as these areas seem to get I wonder if there is a reason why the different camps do not put up wind turbines as an energy source. Does anyone know if this source of energy would be feasible for them?

Cynthia- just wanted to add: ScreenVirtuoso records a selected rectangle or window, so I select 'always on top' in WMP, keep WMP somewhere to the top right of my screen and then browse in smaller windows. If you keep WMP in the top right corner, it usually doesn't interfere with websites too much. If for whatever reason I can't connect through WMP and have to use the pop up player then it's more difficult to record and browse at the same time. __________________

I know Val only uses one computer to do her video taping. As for the program I don't know what she uses. She is on her way to Tampa so can't ask her though. __________________

Hi BB, I used to use ScreenVirtuoso which worked like a charm until I switched to Windows Vista. __________________

Camtasia is very easy to learn. In fact, for some reason, I was comfortable quicker with it than SnagIt. My only issue is picking the region to video because once I start I can't open any other windows or it just tapes whatever is on the screen. Do other video systems do that? I've tried all the different selections they have but I can't seem to lock it on a window and still navigate elsewhere. Do Aquila & others have 2 pcs going? __________________

can anyone here tell me what program they use to record these videos
Hi BB. I think lots of folks are sleepy, if not sleeping, and more than a bit sidetracked from the events of last night, lol I don't do video... yet. I do use SnagIt and also have Camtasia which accompanies SnagIt, both of which you can video tape from. Camtasia has recording and a nice little editing system too. There are instructions in the video section on how to use and what programs different folks use in one of the forums here. __________________

I am battling to stay with you all tonight as the cellullar connection I am useing is cutting my internet feed every few min, very frustrating using most of my battery power to get back on, all the time, Pleasure for the travel up dates tomorrow is my last day here I pack up and leave on Monday back to crowded old Johanneburg but I am back in Feb when I bring my niece and her friends from Canada, __________________

Trying to sit up in chair here, cuz I keep half way dozing off... lol If I disappear for a while it's because I leaned on back in chair and the "sand man" got me really for sure. LOL. Completely understood. __________________

Thanks Fabby! So at least I know I'm not doing it wrong; just have to adjust my windows accordingly. It was the funniest thing first time I video'd. I thought it would just tape whatever window I had chosen. Went back to review it LOL and saw windows popping up & down, myself typing responses. I just had to laugh.
